AND THE KETTLE
Three days on the Naramata Bench, British Columbia
By Dave Heigway
The conversation started with talk of a trip to Naramata, British Columbia, that would include riding fat-tire e-bikes on the Kettle Valley Railway (KVR), an abandoned railway that stretches hundreds
of kilometers through the wilds of Canada. Better still, the trip would
include some wine-tasting tours and using the bikes to haul some paddle
boards down to Okanagan Lake for some morning paddles.
