In fact, the complete Rockstar Suzuki
team signed a three-year deal to race
the orange machines. Millsaps, who
sat out the 2013 AMA outdoor
Nationals following leg surgery, finished
second in the 2013 Supercross series
and is a big catch for KTM. Joining
Millsaps at the Rockstar KTM team will
be Jason Anderson and Joey Savatgy,
both in the 250 class. Not included in
the KTM deal are Blake Wharton, Ryan
Sipes and Nico Izzi. The team will make
its KTM debut on October 19, 2013,
at the Monster Energy Cup.

CHAD WILL GET
HIS DAY IN COURT
Pasco County, Florida’s war
against Chad Reed’s practice tracks
took a turn when County Judge
William Sestak granted a temporary
injunction barring Reed from riding
on his outdoor tracks. Reed and the
county have been sparring since
2004 over the tracks, conditional-use permits and hours of operation.
At one point Chad switched ownership from himself to his children’s
trust. The county has not won the
war, only the battle. Chad’s lawyers
will have their day in court.
